This was one of the many many bumpers we had prepared
for Pope John Paul II's passing. I only made the
tiniest sliver of the beautiful work that ABCNews
used.
The base cathedral is Maya, Flame added the sparks,
type and lines.

- Quantel Hal and yes, the alphabet was inspired
by the Rusted Root logo.
Bottom Line/ WNT transition
- After Effects -most of the cool elements came
from the package design.
The Zone - Nightline
story about Russian prisons.
I know it's hard to imagine, but five or six years
ago no one was doing animated distressed type. I
mean, distressed type was everywhere, but font so
ruined that any individual frame was illegible was
unusual. So I constructed sheets of looping, animated
font on the Hal. Not shown here.
