| I
love computer games. My current favorite is Baldur's Gate. My family
also plays a lot of Sims. Before Baldur's Gate was Fallout, Fallout2,
Starcraft, and Civilization 2. |

| Lego.
I, like everyone,
played with Legos growing up. I came back into the fold when Star
Wars Legos came out. Here is how to build a Lego
transport plane for your special operations toops. |

The
Sims. Not
only is this game is addictive, it will give your spouse a
whole new appreciation why you stay up until 5am playing Baldur's
Gate. Imagine an interactive soap opera, where you control
the characters' actions. The Sims is like Sim City, but with
people instead of buildings. You can decorate, shop and boss
people around
if you like that sort of thing : )
The Official
Sims site has lots of cool stuff, info and downloads.
The
Sims Resource you can get anything and everything for
your Sim people, plus info on editing them yourself.
The
Well Dressed Sim is the best place for outfits (skins).

The
Pool. Ever felt the need to have an "accident"
with one of your characters? Don't want to wait 3 days for
the old man to starve? Is fire too
random?
Noah discovered the pool solution. Put the doomed character
into the pool, delete the ladder and let nature take it's
course.
If you would like to see the wall textures I made to match
my real life house, go here-->

Baldur's
Gate. A very
cool Role Playing Game that is basically D&D. You play
a character exploring nasty places, killing ugly monsters,
and finding cool stuff. The more stuff you get, the nastier
the monsters you can fight. If this is your cup of tea, this
is the game.
I should be getting
Baldur's Gate II soon.

| For
players who can't remember the values of all those gems,
I've made a price list. |

Fallout
2. A role playing
game in the post-nuclear wasteland. Mutants, freaks, and lots of
guns. Strictly for grown-ups, and very cool. The first Fallout is
also nice.
The best walkthrough (spoiler) site for Fallout 2 is Steve's
Fallout Page.
Both Baldur's Gate and Fallout 2 are made by Interplay.

Civilization
2. An old game,
but a classic. I played it for a long time. Am I looking forward
to Civ 3 this fall?
Yes. Yes I am.

|
Starcraft
and Broodwar. Similar
to Blizzard's earlier Warcraft, you build and supply your army of
marines as they protect human settlements from buggy-looking aliens.
Or you can play one of two types of aliens as they squish the human
threat. Hours of real-time strategy fun.
Go to Blizzard's
Homepage.

| MAME.
MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. It is a program
that let's you're computer pretend to be a classic video game.
You then download ROMS, or games, to play on your emulator.
It's pretty straight forward, and a whole lot of fun.
My emulator is MAME32
and works great. |
